You will also lose your application fee.
I don't think if that will be the case, I understand if the applications Rejected due to non submission of Biometric information, a deduction of 25 GBP is made and rest if the fee is returned. Fee is not refunded in case of Refu...
Seems so I applied on 5th Oct and still waiting like you. I even contacted my local council but they also havent got anything yet. Did you try contacting your council?
I am afraid I have to disagree here. Currently there seems to be an even split when you look at the October timeline.
I agree that there is an even split now but EEA route approvals were first to come through and later non-EEA also started trickling in. This wait is making me spend mo...
Processing time has gone up sharply in recent weeks as its not 4-6 weeks anymore and varies between 6-9 weeks after biometrics (except in case of EEA route which I think is relatively quicker). Also, recently approvals are not coming in order as well. I did biometrics on 18th Oct and my case is stra...
It seems to be taking much longer for non-EU applicants as I have seen multiple approvals for October but for people going via EEA route. Don't know why such a gap between EU & Non-EU application processing
Hello Everyone, I was just wondering what Reference Number is used when you book Citizenship ceremony with council? Is it same as the one on your acknowledgement and Biometric letter or any different? Also there are 2 reference numbers on Biometric letter - One Case Reference Number (9 digits) and t...
As I said before, I can confirm one of my friend chose similar option and he just submitted his degree with AN1 application and his application was approved recently without any issues. He did not provide any NARIC letter for a degree from Non-EU country.
If you had a visa to come back to UK then it would be a non-issue but since you do not have it, I think it will be tricky sending the passport via post/someone and what if there are issues with Passport issuance -> You have to apply for entry clearance/right of abode in this case for your child?
You may tick the option 'Already proved during ILR application after Oct 2013' and take your degree to your NCS appointment and that's enough. No need for Naric letter if you proved it in your ILR after Oct 13. There are multiple threads relating to this.
Hi, Take your degree with you as NCS will take a copy of it and attach with application. For my application, NCS didn't take the copy and I ticked the same option in form as you have done. My friend submitted his application and NCS took copy of his degree and he recently got the approval as well so...
Its a simple exam and consists of Speaking & Listening. You need to decide 5 topics which are discussed during first half and there are 5-6 fixed topics of which examiner will choose 2 topics and talk on that. Total test duration is 10 minutes but the whole process may take 45-60 minutes.
I would suggest you to chill as you seem to be stressing too much on something so trivial. Its possible that you and your friend paid through different banks and they might have a different charging cycle. It may
If your wife used that ESOL certificate for ILR, then you can just tick the option that you got ILR after Oct 2013 and proved your English skills. No need to do another test.
Quick question guys. I am applying for naturalisation and passport together via ncs @manchester on Wednesday. I am not sure which passport application do I need to use. I have applied for passport online and paid the fees is that OK. Or should I HV got the passport application...
Its 15 calendar days from the date on the letter but if you don't enrol in the given timeframe, HO will send a reminder letter with similar timeline. But don't take chances and try doing it first time.
Its shoud be okay as I also went outside country after biometrics. Looking at the timelines, I guess processing of application starts between 40 - 60 days after biometrics. Its always a good idea if somebody can check your mail when you are away.
I submitted my application through Redbridge NCS and its okay if you just carry the degree that you used for ILR. They will just take a copy of it and it will be fine.
