Absence letter is not needed for tier 1 general. I got my ILR approved yesterday wasn't asked for any absence letters even though I had absences around 150 days in one go and 258 total absences.

Xrm, You need to calculate your eligibility from the date u landed in the country. Because u entered more than 90 days later you cannot use the entry clearance date. Xrm,

Also the absences should be less 180 days or less in each of the consecutive years before application and not 180 days in total as seem to be your understanding.
