great news, aluter!! congrats!! hope we'll get ours soon too! asked for our passports back last week but not heard from them whatsoever.

Update on my situation....sent an email a couple of days back to request for our passports back as we would need to travel in mid June. There was no reply to this email thus sent it again yesterday without any success. I then called UKBA today to try and find out whether my request is being processe...

As far as I know you'll be fine travelling to turkey without applying for a visa. As long as you have a valid visa for the UK they will issue you the turkish visa on entry. I'll be travelling together with my spouse but we're going to Greece. They do require me to get a schengen visa if I don't have...

Will also have to request passports back soon as we're going away in June. Will need to apply for a visa too if the passport comes back without RC.

I sent an email to UKBA last night and received a reply this morning saying that the COA was dispatched on the 22nd of March and we should receive it shortly. I am really happy to have finally received some good news! Fingers crossed it will be in the post soon. Will keep you posted...

Hi aluter and lolo82, I go through the same thing every day I get the post. I also think to myself that I should relax a little and not stress so much about receiving the COA but it's hard... Anyways, we don't have a choice but keep waiting and hoping for it to arrive soon.

Same here. Sent EEA2 application on 20th Feb, received by HO on 21st and am now waiting. Will also wait the 4 weeks before getting in touch with the HO. Quite nerve wracking.
