Re: EU National to British Citizen

When my husband does receive the document certifying his PR, would there be any obstacles to us applying for the baby's British passport? Only a British Citizen can apply for a passport. If the child was born before your husband attained PR, the child is not British. You will need to register the c...

Any particular reason why you can't stay on Tier 2 G as you likely qualify for ILR next year on either 5 years or 10 years long residence.

The vignette is valid for 30 days from th...

Re: Dependent ILR visa from India -- Travel Date

Visas in passports are now issued for 30 days so an applicant should travel within that time. Once arrived in the UK, they have 10 days to collect their BRP Card from their designated Post Office. If the travel date is within 3 months, you can ask the visa to start nearer to the travel date although...

Re: Broke 180 days rules in first two year due to medication

It might benefit your friend if he registered on the site and listed all his immigration history and absences.

Unless he can split any absence to no more than 180 per 12 month cycle, he might have a problem.

She doesn't qualify for ILR. Her immigration status: Tier 2 dependent - Nov 2010 till July 2012 She would have qualified and only needed 2 years residence if she had stayed on this visa. Tier 2 Visa - July 2012 till August 2014 This reset her ILR qualifying clock to zero Tier 2 dependent - August 20...

Re: ILR 28 Days before application

You can apply no sooner than 28 days before you ENTERED the UK.

The 28 day rules applies to the 90 day concession or from whenever you entered on a qualifying visa.

The 90 day concession is also only applicable to PBS/Tier 1 & 2 visas (you don't say what category you are on)

Yes sure, do that and she will find herself facing a ban for deception if she has declared you as a boyfriend already. HO/UKVI keep all information.

Should not affect her entry to Italy.
