Re: Naturalising as a British Citizen

We all are dependant upon my father
There is no dependency concept for citizenship. Each applicant regardles of age, must meet the requirements on the own.

You will also need the English B1 and LIUK tests for when you can apply once you have held ilr for 12 months.

Re: English Language requirement For someone who has obtained GCSE and A-levels and has lived in UK for 11 years

I acquired ILR in 2013, back then i do not think i submitted any sort of proof that i knew english English language B1 test and Life in the UK test was required in 2013 for ILR for any applicant over the age of 18. Did y...

FLR(M) visas are generally processed within a couple of weeks to 8 weeks using standard service. Have a look at the timeline thread.

If OP has lived here since age 8 and now in university, likely they either had ILE or got ILR a few years ago before age 18.

Re: Loss of EU citizenship effect on UK citizenship application

Just for information, unless you follow a two step process (each with a fee - UKVI and SA Consular Service) first before applying for British citizenship, you will lose your South African citizenship again once you become British.

Re: How to buy priority/super priority service to get faster decision

If some one think I have done any mistake I am happy to cancel the application and apply again. That is all you can do but you still might NOT get the Super Priority opti...

Her visa expires in 2027!!! Travel before that date. Her visa has been granted for the full duration. She wont get a brp card. The downside is that her qualifying period for ILR only starts from the date she enters the uk, so she will need 2 extensions in rhe future as she wi have a shortfall, rathe...

Re: Awaiting ILR decision (priority) to apply for child's citizenship registration

It doesn't matter as her visa expires next week anyway and she will still be an overstayer regardless of when you submitt the MN1.

You cannot expedite the brp.

Re: Awaiting ILR decision (priority) to apply for child's citizenship registration

If you are quoting a guidance, post the link.

What you are reading doesn’t apply to a child who has an entitlement to register as British

I have yet to see a refusal in the same circumstances as yours.

You are overthinking!!

Re: Awaiting ILR decision (priority) to apply for child's citizenship registration

A uk born child has an entitlment to register. It doeant matter if their visa has expired.

Yes they are overstayer but it has no effect on the MN1 application.

Whag it doea affect is their free nhs use, which they wont have if they have no visa.

Re: BRP Return

Yes. Advise to make certified copies before sending them back - if you have children whose citizenship relied on your ILR it has been recommended on this forum not to return them at all. No, I mean if they were British at birth through you having ILR before they were born. OPs children were born ab...

Also, for cash in hand, if she has no payslips and the exact salary payments are not deposited in the bank, cash in hand job will be totally disregarded and not taken into account for the financial requirements.

Hi There are two fast track fees 1000£ and 500£. Wha tis the difference ?
Super priority at £1000 is a decision within 24 hours, not a guaranteed service though.

Priority at £500 is a decision within 5 working days and available foe your route anyway.
