Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

Expect a long wait for a passport if you apply from India. What is the date on their registration certificates?

I trust that you have notified the schools accordingly about your children's absence.

Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

Your 17 year old will need to attend an interview for his passport, which is mandatory for all applicants over 16. Yes, all uncancelled passports need to be submitted. When will they be back in the UK? When did they get ILR and how long have they been out of the UK now? Sorry, correction to my earli...

Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

You can but they will need to submit biometrics which might be a problem. How old are the children as your numbers you typed came up with smiley faces.

Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

I am travelling to India in December with the their Naturalisation Certificates and planning to apply for their passport from India. You can do this for them but are you aware that passports applications from India take between 6 and 12 months. All passport applications worldwide are processed in t...

Yes, you can include him in your ILR application. Is he newborn as in recently born or a bit older and already has a Tier 2 dependent visa?

Unlikely they will be granted a longer term visit visa other than 6 months if they have only visited once.

Re: July 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

That would be applicable to nationality in country of origin/birth and not the application for citizenship in the context of form AN which is an application by choice of someone with another nationality already. I think it's better if we stick with original topic Rather then having debate, there are...

Re: Newborn Dependant

If his visa expires in December 2015, then no, he will not have a valid visa when you travel in March 2016 unless you apply for ILR or PBS extension.

Proof of applying for BC does not mean anything as it is the approval and registration certificate that proves his citizenship.

The question is, can these earnings be combined making £15,200 + £10,800 = £26,000? Your response would highly be appreciated. Thanks for your help and good job for touching people's lives positively. Joint income can be used . There is also the new NHS surcharge that has to be paid upfront at poin...

Re: Changing from Tier 5 to Tier 2 (General) sponsorship vis

1. I know of a change in rules relating to salary for Tier 2 General from April but not sure about the dependent work right. 2. As far as I am aware, the dependent can apply within the UK. 3. If the company issues a certificate of maintenance, this can include the main applicant and dependents. 4. T...

Re: 6 month fiancée visitor visa Healthcare surcharge

A fiance visa is NOT a visitor visa. Fiance visa comes under the 'settlement visa' group, i.e. once married within the 6 months, she can switch to FLR(M).

No, she does not pay the health surcharge. Remember that she also cannot work on a fiance visa.

Re: Form AN - Naturalization Document Requirements

I was asked during my NCS appointment about my 6 years P60 and my employer's letter, although I have PR in my passport. The strangest thing that I was asked about my driving licence counterpart. However I had all these documents with me, so she didn't have choice other than to accept my application...

It's a lengthy debate but it comes under Hume right when you are settled some where legally, there was a bill passed not a long ago in which they said it's a privilege due to for those who are threat to country. If you have a look into Human right act I hope that will clarify it also there are othe...

Re: ILR Refused : Tier ICT issue + Tier 1 Visa Expiry Date I

Mobiusrex, You should have been extended upto May,2016. I think it was over looking by the case workers. As per rules, you deserved to be allotted five years which you were deprived. Better check from HO about it or take help of a Solicitor. I am sure you will find some way to handle it. Be positiv...

Please don't tag your questions onto other peoples threads, it creates confusion when members reply.

If you meet all the requirements, a spouse visa will likely be the easiest route once you are married and he has graduated.

Re: Length of stay for spouse of tier2 - ILR eligibility

There is no set rule, however, absences should be limited and for good reason. The year is calculated from whichever month of ILR eligibility. So if you/she applies in October, it will count 12 months backwards from October. She should ideally, not be living in home country for long periods than liv...

There is a difference between working for a sponsor and working at the sponsors clients to working for an umbrella company.

You said you work for an umbrella company. Did they take a percentage of your pay/salary?
