Re: Overstayed but now applying spouse visa within the UK

One thing is that I have relatives in the Republic of Ireland so If I go there and apply from there, would that be in any way feasible or possible? You need a visa to go to Republic of Ireland. Highly unlikely you would get one as a person in the UK with no legal status. The UK and Rep of Ireland s...

Hi Justtme29 I think for fee waver it's separate application.
Destitute person don’t need to pay he’s exempt from home office fee
It is still a separate application to the ILR DV application. You need fee waiver approval first before you can apply for SET(DV).

You would need to check if the test provider is still on the list. An expired test can only be used if it is an approved test AND the test provider is still on UKVI's approved provider list. https://www.gov.uk/english-language/approved-english-language-qualifications You can only use English for Spe...

My last day in the job was 17 feb.
Not enough time has passed to find another sponsor to be honest. It takes a bit of time.

What is your job/profession?

No he cannot.

They would have have had to be in the uk as student dependents to qualify for graduate route dependent visas.

This is clearly stated on ukvi website.

Re: Documents translate from Hindi to English for Visa purpose

Any registered translator, UK or abroad, can do a translation. They have to provide their credentials when doing it and this will be visible to UKVI to verify.

There is no rule that for applications abroad the translator must be in the country of application.

It depends on your immigration route.

If you did a spouse visa and then ilr, you only need your passport(s) all stamped pages.

If you can the EEA/EU family route, you need P60s etc.

Also, topics merged. Please keep all your questions in ONE topic!

Re: Dependents ILR rejection

Gtv dependents apply for ilr on form SET O. You have use the wrong form.

It is not about your ilr or citizenship status but everything to do with the visa category the dependents hold.

Also it hasn’t been rejected. If you read the email it would give you time to make the correct application.

Ilr is not a mandatory application at exactly the qualifying period, it can ne applied fpr later before visa expiry. When a person qualifies for ilr sooner than the visa duration, it is irrlevant to the IHS fee you have to pay when applying for an extenaion. They are two separate things. You dont ge...

A UK born child does not need to have a valid visa, no need to extend.

Ensure you have medical cover as he wont be eligible for free nhs if he has no visa.

Flr FP is correct

You have to pay IHS for duration of the visa, ie 2.5 years. You cannot choose to pay less.

Useful to state the exact visa categories held since 2018. There are many dependent visa categories, each with their own rules, Spouse visa flr m, skilled worker/tier 2 dependent, etc.

And which ilr form did you complete, SET PL??
