2. Getting is NOT an “immigration application”!!

Re: UK spouse visa-worried

What application have you actually completed? As a Skilled Worker visa holder, you apply for a Skilled Worker Dependent visa, NOT a 'spouse visa' which is a completely different visa category. So be clear on what exactly you have applied, supply the link where you started the application. i have sub...

Re: HELP! 2 months to ILR and layoff

1. So in February you wanted to resign because of a 'horrible colleague', which could have been addressed through HR. 2. Now you are saying you are at risk of being made redundant, less than a month after you said you want to resign. 3. You CANNOT get ILR on your visa if you do NOT work for your spo...

Re: PBS dependant leave to remain - applying for ILR

There is NO such requirement for pbs dependents!!

They do not have to work and do not need evidence such as an employer letter regarding absences.

You are confusing the requirments that are for main skilled worker or previous tier 2 visa holders.

He should do an English B1 test then. The rules are clear, to use a foreign degree, it must be assessed as meeting the equivalent of a UK Bachelor degee or PhD (not a diploma).

Failing to meet the English requirement will result in a visa refusal.

Re: Inquiry about bringing my husband over to the UK

You cannot sponsor your new spouse until you have ILR.

If he wants to come to the UK, he will have to find a visa that he qualifies for on his own, ie student visa, skilled worker visa etc.
