When you list the absence, just write the reason, for example 'holiday' etc.

Re: Right to work for ILR 10 years student

As far as I am aware, you existing visa status and conditions continue until (if) ILR is granted.

Not sure if you could request a right to work or not though.

You can apply on MN1 under section 1(3) which is an entitlement to register as a British Citizen.

https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-intracompany-transfer-worker-visa/family-members Dependents are husband/wife and children under 18, so that would exclude your parents. Below link is the policy guidance for PBS dependents. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/324611/DEP...

Re: Family Members VISA for Tier 2 ICT Long term Staff

My current VISA may get extended till Aug 2016 and I would like to call my parents from Jan 2015 to Aug 2016. Is it possible for them (parents) to travel for more than 180 days/year in any case? On what visa? A visitor visa?? I don't see how you would do this as they would then not be classed as 'v...

Re: Naturalisation approval letter not picking -- Please adv

Once you receive the approval letter, you have 2/3 weeks to BOOK your ceremony. You have to attend the ceremony WITHIN 3 months from date of approval. If you don't book and attend in the required time frame (no contact from you for example), you will have to apply again when you meet the requirement...

Re: ilr . absence new rule

It is acceptable to apply for your ILR by PEO and your husbands visa extension by post once you have got your ILR.

The baby can be Registered as British under section 1(3), which is an entitlement, once you have your ILR.

Adults are naturalised, children are Registered.

Re: ILR eligibility

She doesn't have to do a whole course. She could just book for a test if her English is ok, it is speaking and listening that is tested. Level B1 needs to be done and LIUK, so two tests. English test list in below link. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/368123...

Yes, you can use the lecturer as professional referee and then use another person (British and over 25) for your personal referee.

Re: Booking Visa Premium Service appointments SET(M)

Appointments are only available to book 42 days in advance, so February won't be available as yet. Using a solicitor is a waste of money and won't make any difference, they don't get to 'argue your case' if that is what you were thinking and they will charge you some stupid amount just to do what yo...

Re: Are there quieter months for applications?

The summer months are generally busier than other times and probably staffing shortage due to holidays etc. It really depends on each application and the caseworker load. Given the issue with passport applications this year, there will probably be a knock on effect due to the redistribution of staff...

Re: ILR in person application - Croydon or Solihull

I used Croydon twice, never had a problem or delay. I would say that Croydon is the main PEO.

It really depends on how straightforward your case is and if you meet all the requirements.

Re: ILR eligibility

The period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK may be counted toward the qualifying period, as long as it does not exceed 90 days. This can occur if the applicant is delayed traveling to the UK. Provided the period of delay does not exceed 90 days, it will not be ...

It will be 12 months from the date you are granted ILR before you can apply for citizenship. You will obviously get ILR quicker if you apply in person.
