Re: Does time spent on EEA 2 application count towards 10 years long residency?

My understanding is that you cannot 'vary' applications across two completely different sets of rules, i.e. EEA/EU rules and UK Immigration Rules. When did you get married? What date did your previous Tier 1 expire? What date did you submit your EEA Residence Card application? What was the exact rea...

The Royal Mail tracking number will merely confirm that it has been delivered by Royal Mail. It is NOT the correct number to use for employer checking. You need the HO reference number to check your status on the HO website.

Re: desperate for advice, overstayed trying to go home..

It isn't the US embassy that could deport you, it is the UK authorities that can.

Also, did you pay the costs of your pre-natal, birth and anti-natal care if you used the NHS? You are not entitled to free NHS use and should have paid 150% of the cost.

1. She can change within the UK.

2. You likely loose it as you have chosen to chop and change visas not HO. IHS is payable with each visa you apply for.

If you are claiming exemption due to various illness, HO usually expect to see detailed information from all NHS services involved to verify it is a genuine claim.

Re: Buying a house with tier2 general visa

You can buy a house and sell it if you wish at whatever point.

What the mortgage companies require is not an immigration question and you will need to check with them. You also are unlikely to get the best rate due to not being in the UK for very long and not having ILR.

Re: Tier 2 ICT Long term staff partner , 6 months

1. I don't know what the ££ rate is you paid. Usually better to state in pound sterling. If you paid for a Tier 2 ICT visa, then that is what they should get.

2. If they get an ICT visa then yes.

Their visa should have the same expiry date as your visa.
