You cannot use all the benefits towards the calculation as far as I understand. What level of carers allowance are you getting? https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-members/calculating-adequate-maintenance-2016-17-how-to-t205533.html In terms of the 1 bed property, how many adult...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New servic

Dear Members Just wondering. Is there any member who applied around March 22nd March who is still waiting for a decision or is it just me who is waiting. Been on the Awaiting Decision since 25th May. I know standard time is 6 months but in spite of knowing this, am getting extremely anxious. ...

Re: Requesting Passport Back

This is why we always advise members to apply using NCS at the council in order to hold onto their original documents.

It can take a few weeks.

Re: RCoS refusal

You won't get a visa on £25,000. The requirement changed in April 2017 and you now need the higher out of the SOC or £30,000. Hours are also usually calculated on 39 hours per week. Appropriate salary You’ll usually need to be paid at least £30,000 per year or the ‘appropriate rate’ for the job you’...

Not sure why you felt the need to register a new username, asking the same question again, when you have been given extensive advice by Obie in your other thread, usernam hrak1978. You have already been advised that SET(LR) will fail for the same reasons as your PR failed. https://www.immigrationboa...

Re: Need Help in Tier 2 Visa extension

The decision was correct. AR is only if HO made an error in deciding your application.

The rules are very clear, no CoS = no visa.

Have you been given the opportunity to apply for another visa within 14 days?

No one can tell you how long they will take to respond to you. There is a specific process to follow if you believe there is an error on your BRP. The information leaflet you got with your card would have told you what to do.

A) This asks the date you entered the UK, did you switch to Tier 2 within the UK??

B) You can't book your appointment for September, it is too early.

Since your lasts posts in May this year, you should probably have started planning accordingly. If you cannot get an appointment in time, you will need to apply by post. https://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tier-2-employer-sponsored-visas/tier-2-visa-married-to-uk-citizen-how-do-i-naturalise-t232016...

No there is not. You will need to keep checking for any day and any time, including Saturdays, to see if there is an appointment available, provided you are not fussy about time etc.

You have limited time to cancel your appointment to receive a refund of the premium fee.

Re: NCS Appointment a week before 1 year due?

Yeah it's strange cos she went through my form with me (online request) looking at when I got ILR, etc and if I met the requirements. I specifically mentioned it to her that one cannot apply before 1 year has been completed on ILR, to which she said 'we have a leeway of up to a week'... Yes, I thin...

Re: TIER 2 VISA EXPIRING AND NEED TO APPLY FOR ILR

There is no 28 day grace period. It has been reduced to 14 days but is not for when you cannot get an appointment as you can still apply by post, it is for specific circumstances, but it does not mean your visa conditions continue. If you apply after your visa expires, you cannot work.

Then you will need to apply by post.

If you apply after your visa expires, you are not allowed to work or use the NHS.

1. How can the company prove that I haven't been pre-selected when I have already been working for them part time? That's the whole point of RLMT isn't it. Your application date is the date of your NCS appointment and NOT the date that HO receives your application.

Your choice what you want to do and if you want to risk it for the sake of 6 days.

Re: Applying for ILR and baby's registration

Q1) If both parents get ILR, does it curtail or impact in anyway on our son's dependent visa? because if it does curtail his visa, he might not be able to come back to UK. No issue, as long as he returns to the UK before it expires. This assumes you are applying for ILR based on PBS route and 5 yea...
