Re: Tier-2 PBS Dependent route to ILR

1. For ILR it will be settlement yes. You will need to keep an eye on the language requirement as HO do make changes.

2. Not sure. The fees are not HO related, but dictated by NARIC.

3. LIUK does not have an expiry date. Fee has been £50 since it was introduced many years ago.

Re: Tier-2 PBS Dependent route to ILR

Probably not as HO is not forcing you to apply for ILR. You can request a refund once ILR is granted though, but whether you get it is another story.

Re: Can I switch from Tier 2 Dependent to Tier 2 ICT

You can't apply for Tier 2 ICT. This requires you to work for your employer in your HOME country for 12 months before you can apply for it. You can only apply for Tier 2 General provided that your sponsor has completed the full and proper RLMT process and you meet all the other requirements. Well, ...

2. The 6 year cap does not apply to PBS dependents.

3. Tier 2 Dependent which is an online form only. Same process as before except she is applying alone. See PBS Dependent guidance notes (click)

Re: Tier-2 PBS Dependent route to ILR

1. When I apply for ILR, what will happen to my wife's tier 2 dependant visa (dependant visa expires in Feb 2019)? Will it become invalid as soon as I get ILR? No it won't. If you apply for ILR based on Tier 2, then your wife can continue on her existing visa and extend it as PBS dependent until sh...

Just withdraw the appeal.

What were the reasons for the two refusals?

It really should be you and your spouse's decision.

You don't need a UK marriage to initiate a divorce in the UK.

Re: Spouse UK Visa

A solicitor doesn't 'do the work'. They charge a fortune to effectively fill in a form and check your documents (free of charge on the forum though to help you).

A solicitor also has no bearing on the outcome and they often get it very very wrong, as many members on the forum have discovered.

It can be completed online in the UK. Hardly like UKVI will track your IP to see where it was completed.

Hi Yes our intention is to be totally truthful. If she has a letter from her dad stating that she will be working in the family business on her return, together with a return ticket, would that be sufficient you think ? Not likely if she is going to be 'visiting' for 6 months. Any parent can 'write...
