Re: PEO clarifications on the day

Croydon also tell you to 'come back later' but you have a choice to sit and wait inside if you wish. Both times I used Croydon, we waited a bit, then went outside for lunch and came back in and waited. Never asked for additional documents, it is not an interview process.

Youth Mobility Visa

Suffice to say that I am not very clued up on Australian immigration etc and yes, I watch 'Nothing to Declare' and fear every having to enter the land and be searched and interrogated. Anyway, my 20 year old daughter is interested in the Youth Mobility Visa to spend some time in the land of Oz. Does...

Re: ILR LR dependents

For child (better to post this query in the British Citizenship forum), see FAQs - Citizenship (Children) (Click). If you apply using NCS at the council, you will get to keep all your original documents.

For your spouse, you also need to send your documents. See FLR(M) form, page 62 onwards.

Re: Child born UK with BRP - Question

Leave blank 1.2 and 1.3 blank, he does not have ILR (based on your post).

Complete section 6.

Apply using NCS, you then get to keep all the original documents.

Re: PEO clarifications on the day

Decisions or to 'hold and application' depends on the person previous status (spouse, Ancestry, Tier 1, Tier 2, etc) in the UK and the documents submitted for ILR. All in person centres follow the same rules. It is the applicants responsibility to ensure they meet ALL the requirements for the releva...

Possibly yes. It might be easier/possible to reschedule the appointment for early January instead of cancelling.

For WP holders (pre-PBS) and HSMP JR migrants covered by HSMP JRs, all dependants qualify for ILR along with main applicant irrespective of length of stay in UK (196D). Initial application for leave as PBS dependant made before 09-Jul-12 : Sp...

You are considered an adult, so no family visa available and you will need to find a visa you qualify for, i.e. Tier 4 Student visa perhaps. What is your nationality as depending on this, there might other options. Besides which, you cannot switch to any other category within the UK if you are on a ...

Re: Switch fp to m for ilr

Than you for your reply. I thought as much. It's incredibly frustrating as my husband originally entered the UK in 2011 and was granted flr (fp) last year, which means if we stick to thia route he won't be granted ilr until 2024. :x What visa did he enter the UK on in 2011? He will qualify, if he m...

Why doesn't she stay on Tier 1 General? How long has she been on Tier 1 General and when does her current visa expire?

If she really wants to switch, why not FLR(M)? Does she work?
