Re: Citizenship - Queries if qualifying
Its hard to say why you would mention this & where on application you would mention it. There was a dispute, you appealed & won your case. What is there to say?!
Many thanks for your response. So far I am getting mixed responses and still indecisive that should I mention this on pag...

Re: Citizenship - Queries if qualifying

IMHO.. You have two options. 1. Do not mention anything in the Form . a: You may get approved without any issue. b: or they may refuse your application but you will have chance to send re-consideration. 2. Explain in Page 23.. or write letter explaining everything. ( Do not tick "Yes" in any box in...

Re: Citizenship - Queries if qualifying

If you are worried: Include a covering letter and explain the facts (include any documentary evidence that you may have to state your appeal was allowed and then leave granted). Better than being refused and then send all this along with request reconsideration, IMHO ... Many thanks moderators for ...

Citizenship - Queries if qualifying

Dear moderator and senior members; I am due to apply for my citizenship application next month. I have a query, back in 2010 HO reject my Tier1 general initial application by stating that I used deception by getting student visa in 2007. I actually got admission in that college in May 2007 and secur...

Re: NCS appointment 1 year after ILR

It is a very easy perhaps mathematics question. If you received ILR on 11/01/2015 then you will complete the required 12 months on 10/01/2016. And on 11/01/2016 it will be 12 months + 1 day which is absolutely fine. Exactly that's what I meant but as moderator suggested its good to have an appointm...

Thanks Fieldrive. I have already asked my NCS to change my appointment from 11th Jan 2016 to 12th Jan 2016 but yet to receive any response.

Good luck with your pending nationality application.

Re: NCS appointment 1 year after ILR

Date of application is the date that you submit at NCS and needs to be a full 12 months from date of ILR. For the sake of 1 day, book an appointment on the 5th. I understand that the date of NCS appointment is the date of receipt the application by HO. However, When I booked my appointment in Octob...

Re: NCS appointment 1 year after ILR

Just wondering - is the NCS appointment to the day. E.g. if I got ILR on 04 Jan 2015 can I go for NCS 04 Jan 2016? Do they consider that a year. The booking people said they do not know :( This should be fine. Since 04th of January 2016 will be your first anniversary of ILR this means you can book ...

Re: SA302 Required?

SA302 will help a lot and it doesnt take very long to order and come through (looking at 2 weeks max). Definitely suggest getting it. I was a director of a limited company back in 2010-11 but once I got full time offer from my company in August 2011, I closed my limited company and since then I am ...

Re: Canada immigration effect on naturalisation application

Well theoretically, you can acquire PR of other country before you get ILR in UK as you are not sure if you get ILR in UK or not. Just because someone acquired a PR in some other country doesn't mean that the person doesn't have intention to make UK their home. With that reason, I don't think it sh...

Re: NCS Date of application

Areal, you know you don't have to use the NCS nearest to you. It may be worth trying a different NCS a few miles out if you don't mind to travel a little to get an earlier appointment.. I know and that's why I booked my NCS appointment nearest to my work place rather than home. However, Do you thin...

Yes you can apply for FLR (FP) which doesn't need financial requirements and its a 10 year route on its own. FLR (...
