Re: Switching EU visa type C to spouse visa

Thanks for the reply! One more question, if we'd be unable to find an accomodation to rent out for long-term in Germany within this short time frame, would they be okay with us using a temporary address for the application, say Airbnb? Apparently my in-laws are in Poland so my husband always uses h...

Re: Citizenship stress are we to be deported ?

4. We as a family need to leave the UK, sell up etc and my wife and daughter need asylum in Poland if we want to remain as a family. Apart from what the others have said, let's not pour out the baby with the bath water. Asylum is something that people who are fleeing for their very lives can apply ...

I'd get my deregistration because your record goes on and on.
@OP

Also, you usually need your de-registration certificate to cancel your German health insurance and they will bill you up to the date on the certificate.

Re: How long to get French citizenship/ EU passport through ancestry

By ancestry I mean right of blood from one parent, I myself am not born in France. Being born in France does not make one French. Has your parent registered you with the French Embassy? Do you have your parents' livret de famille? If one of your parents is French then you are already a dual nationa...

Re: Working on a Student Visa

The conditions on your Student visa are relevant to any employment activity within the UK only. These have nothing to do with any work outside the UK. Any work undertaken while physically in the UK is work in the UK no matter where the employer or client is located. So, freelance work for a US comp...

All you can do is just to report your relationship to UKVI and stop living with or seeing him that's it and rest leave him and UKVI alone to deal with it. the question is why are you in such a rash? deporting direct from hotel really? do you feel unsafe or something you are not telling? you sound l...

Re: Immigrating to France by decent- tourist vs long stay visa

I know nothing about French immigration rules .... but if you are a French citizen why don't you apply for a passport through the embassy or consulate, similar to how it works for British citizens by descent. Appreciate French law is probably more complicated. I am not personally familiar with it, ...

I am registered to this address with Colombian immigration. What does this mean? Do you have a residence permit for Colombia? Re: Visa application form

Since the checklist is very clear about the after approval requirement and health insurance does not even have a tick box, I wouldn't add travel insurance at the time of application.

I would probably add a quote for 6 months insurance that fits the requirements.
