I got appointment for next working day on Glasgow IPS and applied for my two kids on last Monday using 1 week service. We received the passports on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. So, it really took us three days to get the process done.

You will need a real good lawyer to get this thru. I have seen people getting approvals with around 800 absences but in different conditions, being a UK employee and working in rotation in a different country but not being out of the UK more than 4-5 weeks at the time; having 8 absences above 90 day...

My SAR /PNC is out< it came out clear.......i guess this means my CRB is clear and i can disregard conviction on disclosure scotland......so i can apply right. It is showing in disclosure scotland. As convictions. Did you have your sp30 in Scotland? If so, this may be the reason it shows in a CRB certificate issued by disclosure Scotland. get a SAR from your nearest police station of the PNC database. I had exactly the same problem and this one came clean...
