I got appointment for next working day on Glasgow IPS and applied for my two kids on last Monday using 1 week service. We received the passports on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. So, it really took us three days to get the process done.

I have seen people getting approvals with around 800 absences but in different conditions, being a UK employee and working in rotation in a different country but not being out of the UK more than 4-5 weeks at the time; having 8 absences above 90 day...
