However, if she was to apply for any short term stay Visa such as Visitors or Student; this would l...

Hi - Mine is a UK University. Hence no need to attach any more documentation. They know very well what is the medium of instruction in their universities. I agree, we should not provide more than required information. I just did to safeguard my side. Lets see the outcome. Fingers crossed ! Regards ...

I think you ought to have attached a letter from University confirming that the language of instruction for your first degree is/was English. By the way - do you need to submit university letter to prove 'english' if the undergraduate course was undertaken in the UK????? I think that requirem...

Unfortunately WHM Visas are impossible to get unless you are from the 'old -'white'- commonwealth countries - i.e Kiwi, Ozzy, Canadian and SA.

Docterror, Moderators are extremely busy people who do this work on a voluntary basis! We do sometimes get work requiring us to be overseas sometimes, our families 'expand' and get new jobs etc...which means that sometimes we do go 'quiet' on the posting side but we regularly read the posts! Chess, I see the position thus. The person has taken a salary sacrifice ... their salary has been reduced and now, as well as the salary, they get childcare vouchers. Salary is actually XXXX
because - do you mean people should noyt declare say the 'tax free' allowance as earned income? how about pension?- because it is tax free????

Therefore include in your income the cost of Vouchers, Pension etc - but only employee contribution (and not employer contribution!)

You can still receive Child Benefit for both kids and working /child tax credit as appropriate.

Your 'partners' status has nothing to do with the aforementioned entitlements
