Nope, time on dependent visa does not count towards an ILR. Start counting your 5 years from the day you have started working on Tier 2. And if it is going beyond 2016, prepare for a salary check of £35000 :)

You can only apply from your own country or a country where you have a residence permit (are not on a visitor immigration status). It's not possible to bundle your applications when made in separate countries so it would be better (and perhaps only possible) to apply after her application has been ...

Sorry but this sounds fishy.

With a Tier 2 Work permit you're allowed only to work for the sponsor you were given visa for, hence no contractual job with other parties. And you can only work as your COS says.



I am not a lawyer though, and I may be wrong.
