You can try jobserve.com or cwjobs.co.uk (important sites. there is monster.co.uk and jobsite.co.uk)

It is amazing to see you have chosen the username Tier1-ILR-BC clearly indicates your intentions. But it is long and winding road.

If the employer has asked to carry out check, they are obligated to obtain the info before they can proceed.

To protect yourself, Carry out some basic checks Agent email address, phone numbers (Switch board, direct dial), company house check (Registered in england etc) etc and the name of the client.

I totally agree with your points .HSMP/Tier 1 should be treated equally with EEA Nationals/ILR holders. Your points are pretty soild on ethical and moral grounds and even NHS Guidance document wants to follow the same principle. My point is there is no legal protection and the decision not to offer ...

The critical difference is HSMP/Tier 1 visa has got expiry date which means temporay visa. If NHS want to sign a contract for 5 years with prospective employee, they can't do that with HSMP/Tier 1 applicants and they have do it until visa expiry where as ILR/EEA national candidate they can. Again Ti...

It is good idea to use driving licence to take the test. Justice_will_reign , you will get your approval farily quickly. Because you have supplied passport for proof of residence and Driving licence for Proof of ID. cuts down processing time by few weeks.
Keep the forum posted on the developments.

Being in UK for 3 years satisfies one of the requirements.
Other requiremnent is either you are EEA national or have ILR in UK(settled).

You need to satifsfy both requirements to qualify for resident fees.

You are not resident worker. You need to be british citizen or got Indefinite leave to remain (settled) to be treated as resident worker. HSMP gives you access to labor market without restrictions but it is still temporary visa with expiry date. Hope this helps http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/emplo...

Approvals based on 3 months payslips is no longer happens for HSMP. You have to show some economic activity for the whole period by supplying P60 or P45 or payslips. Gaps in employment won't even come into picture if you have P60's all four years. ( working some/most part of every year on HSMP)

The word "settle" means you have legal right to stay in the UK which Tier 1 general doesn't give you or any visa which has got expiry date for that matter. Only citizenship and ILR does that. Tier 1 General gives access to UK job maket without any restrictions. You can try and see whether it works o...
