UK Absence Letter Template

Hello,

My ex-employer gave me leave details however didnt want to mention that I was away from UK during these leaves, which means I have to write myself up a letter mentioning those dates.

Can somebody please help me if they have got a template/sample letter that I can use.

Thanks.

Re: ILR Absence Letter - all leaves or only absences from UK

In all honesty i don't think it will make a difference plus I am not sure how easy it will be for the employer to explicity confirm whether you travelled outside UK or not when you were on paid annual leave. Thanks Sharmao, what you said is true. The HR seems ready to mention all my leaves but don'...

ILR Absence Letter - all leaves or only absences from UK?

Hello, I need some advise on what types of leaves to be mentioned on the absence letter (actually this is what my previous HR company is also needing clarification on). Should the previous employer only need to mention those leaves where I travelled outside UK or they have to mention every leave tha...

ILR Absence Letter - Does this need to be Latest ?

Hello, For ILR application, UKBA asks for letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK. Is this letter need to be latest i.e. the date of letter needs to be within one month of applying for the ILR? I was with an employer f...

Sick Paid Leave - Any effect on ILR?

I am due for ILR this year through Tier2 General Route. I took 4 weeks of paid sick leave last year, will there be any concern during ILR application ? Also, do I need to mention these leaves in the absence letter ? Even including these leaves, I will be still within the 180days limit. Please guide ...

Tier 2 General Start Date

My CoS stated 17th Feb 2014 as the start date of employment. However the BRP that I have received states 31/12/2013 as the Date of Issue.
I am still with my current employer and intend to stay for another month. Will this cause any problem as such? There is no entry for "Valid from date" on the BRP.

Tier 2 Change of Employment -- Notice Period

I am changing employer and as such I have applied for a new Tier 2 General visa. My intention is to give 1 month notice period to the present employer once I get the visa/BRP from UKBA. Once the new visa is issued, does UKBA allow for a overlapping period between the two visas (two employers) to all...

I am currently on Tier 2 General visa. The current visa was issued for a period of 3 years and will be expiring in Jan, 2015. However now I am planning a job change and the new employer is willing to sponsor and help me with a new Tier 2 general visa. I have got a few queries :- 1) For how many year...
