Re: student visa/ 1 yr child giving BC to parents!

Thanks people, I haven't come across the 7 or 8 year rules as you say. My understanding was for a child even if born in the UK citizenship can not be gained unless one of the parents was of British citizen. In this case the parents who are on student visas are expecting to derive British citizenship...

Re: Family visitor visa 6 months cooling

Yes and once the visa is issued this will be enforced by the immigration officers at the entry ports in the UK. If they suspect the pattern they can refuse entry.

Business visits are completely different issue to family visitor.

Now their visas are coming to end this April. They have been advised by their immi solicitor that they can r...

Spring123,

If I were you I would put a explanatory note in the text section about the name just so to avoid the single name not being taken as first and second names! You never know.

good luck.

Re: Any time limit on travel after spouse visa issued?

Thought!

You haven't considered any other holidays for the periods of 2 visas. Are you sure spouse wont leave UK for further absences?

Secondly what if the rules/laws changes by the time you want to apply post visa 2?

Re: Spouse Visa (Natwest Transaction List/History)

I recall I had been to HSBC bank for statements and they printed on their letterheaded paper and I used these original prints for visa applications without any issues. Again these looks different to what usually you see in monthly statement, format wise and other content. However these are legitimat...

Re: Family visitor visa 6 months cooling

Hello, I tried to locate the official guidelines around this, here is my parent's situation. They were given a visa from 4th April to 4th October 2014 however they only stayed in the UK from 4th April to 22nd August 2014. I know it is generally best to wait for 6 months but does that mean I have to...

Re: certifying passport

Are you sure you need certified/notarised copies of passport stamps? Can you point to where does it say so?

Coloured or B&W photocopies should show up passport number on each page.

ibrahim9140, in the case of birth certificate, your hassles are sorted to a great extent. If as you say birth certificate is a strong supporting document showing the relatio...

Hi there, In my case we applied for 5 year visitor visa for my mother in law successfully. She had been here only once prior to that. Its how you present the case. If you were solely bringing your in laws to save childcare costs, then in my view it doesn't make a cut from ECO's perspective. If the i...

India is not that advanced in single parent legal terms, if I am correct. Sole responsibility: Court should still be able...
