Re: Father got Visa refused - family visa

mramay, Glad you are getting on with the documentation. I perfectly understand the cultural traditions as you mentioned as I have no qualms with it. You have explained the same in your cover draft. Similar explanations should be drafted from applicant also. At the end of the day its applicant who ha...

Re: Do previous rejections impact future visas?

Hello, Last year my girlfriend tried to get a general visitor visa for Christmas to visit with the family. However, she was rejected on the grounds that they didn't believe she had sufficient ties to China to return. I can't say it was a massive injustice as she had no job at the time, only savings...

Re: Director of own Company - spouse visa

As long as its genuine and duty debts being paid in time and duly regards to HMRC then there should be no objection.

Remember you are using PAYE however you will be completing self assessment as well. Your accountant should be able to furnish appropriate documentation.

Re: Question about viber and skype... Plz help

As far as I understand any translation to English from other language documents do require to be notarised/certified. If you have daily records for the many months, any attempt to translate these would be cumbersome and to what extent it will be considered is a unknown from ECO's view point. Doesn't...

honeykmb18, OP's application is in-country (UK), hence 8 weeks for spouse visa for postal applications.

Yours and one of mine is out of country and it has standard 60 working days timeline without any priority route.

Re: Pakistan visitor short term visa rejection advise

Sorry to know your refusal. Appeal is limited to human rights basis. SO forget it. A fresh re-application is more beneficial. You said applicant did not submit any evidence of earnings. Clearly the application was poorly supported in objective evidence. An ECO would see the bank statements for the i...

So I did it straight after that and received my WRC 20 days later. I've read that breaking immigration law b...

I am not an expert. however my tupence

IMHO this would have to be applied from home country, one reason that the visa processing time can not be guaranteed to finish within your Schengen visa duration. there will be many others relating to documentation etc.

#1. You already explained but believe this was not clarified to the ECO. He is retired so he has pension and may be other investment income coming in, so if its not matching against what is in the account then it will definitely raise eyebrows. For you it is understood however ECO may not understand...
