Re: Is a Business plan needed for extension application?

The genuine entrepreneur test applies for extension also. There is a section entitled exactly that in the guidance - Genuine Entrepreneur Test – Extension Application But there are no specified documents for that - just the criteria that they use and up to you whether you feel a business plan is nee...

Re: Salary post ext- show at ILR it was not from investment?

You do not need to provide any evidence other than what has been asked for. For an ILR application, the guidance is clear that if you have been awarded points for investment at renewal, you don't need to provide it again. There is no need to provide accounts, bank statements, etc. So, purely based o...

I've only just realised I made this mistake with my submission and looked through all of the FPS I submitted last night to find the start date for one of my employees was on the FPS for the month before she started. She stated 01/08/2015 but her start date was on the July FPS submitted. I guess thi...

Re: Initial Tier 1 Entrepreneur VISA - 200K Account Question

The guidance is very clear on all of your questions, so it should be simple enough for you or your friend to read that.

But summary
1.Yes - you can always show it as evidence, but unlikely to be accepted as it is not within the rules
2. Bank account letter/statements
3. Yes

Re: Sending additional docs to support Tier 1 Ent extension

There is no reason whatsover to send more documents than set out for in the guidelines. If you have some concerns about the interim report you submitted, go ahead and provide the updated one. And explain in a covering letter why you are doing so, what the change is, etc. Does it help your case ? I d...

Re: ILR for PBS dependent short by 40 days

Hello I have a slightly tricky case for my wife's ILR, she joined me on PBS Dependent visa(Tier 1). Just realised there is a more fundamental issue. I don't see an option for a PBS Dependent visa(Tier 1) to apply for ILR on her own. https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y So, you can only apply for h...

Re: ILR for PBS dependent short by 40 days

What you could do is apply for a further spousal extension just before the visa expiry date. And then, assuming that you do not hear back from UKV&I before October, apply for a variation to ILR when she becomes eligible for ILR. Since you can apply for ILR 28 days before the qualifying period, she ...

Can someone suggest if I can apply for ILR early around Aug 17 and hope the application is picked up by the time she is eligible for ILR, I mean 40 days would have elapsed by the time caseworker looks into the case. I believe the condition is that you can APPLY 28 days before reaching the qualifyin...

Since the guidance has been updated, I would not take any risks if I were applying today. Your employee can get a UK registration certificate if he/she has not done so yet. That will meet the requirements even without the passport. You can do so https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/eea-q...
