Re: 200K query

Hello, I am wondering if someone can clarify the following for me: Is it true that the 200k does not specifically have to be 'spent' - as long as it has been transferred to the business via Director's Loan? In other words, when it comes time to renew my visa, let's say 200k has been transferred to ...

Re: Questions about 'investment' and 'unaudited accounts'

Dear Moderators, I have two questions about 'investment' and 'unaudited accounts'. Thank you for taking time to answer. About investment: My first investment was made in June 2018. But since I found out that from 2019 until now I had invested more than 50k, therefore, I don't want to claim the inve...

Re: *** COVID19 Tier 1E impact and Government support *** Discuss here ONLY

This has been repeated a number of times - the Visa is not granted to your business. It is granted to a "person". So there no immigration rules for businesses and so no impact.

Re: Investment by director's loan or share capital

First, if you have read the guidelines properly, you would have seen that management accounts are equally acceptable. So yes, half year accounts, as long as they are prepared and certified by qualified accountants are acceptable. As for the rest, it does not matter what form of investment you make. ...

Re: Companies House - Filing date & Director Appointment date

Hi Team, I have joined an existing business in May 2018 and from which new jobs have been created on that business from the same month. I have just realised that the accountant has update the companies house in June 2018 instead of May 2018, with "Appointment on" date in May 2018 (Back dated), and ...

Re: *** COVID19 Tier 1E impact and Government support *** Discuss here ONLY

Marcnath, I have done some research and apparently employment law dictates that if 80% of pay takes an employee below minimum wage, this is fine. The only question is whether that rule still applies in terms of the visa. ok. I was given a contradictory information in a webinar I attended. But you m...

Re: *** COVID19 Tier 1E impact and Government support *** Discuss here ONLY

Hi guys, thanks for the info. Something I’m still unclear on having read previous posts - if we are furloughing employers, can the 80 percent pay we give them fall below the normal minimum wage? Since these months are not being counted towards the 12 month total, it seems like a furloughed employee...

Re: *** COVID19 Tier 1E impact and Government support *** Discuss here ONLY

I understand we can furlough employees, and that these months will not count towards the 12 month total required; I also understand they will extend our visas so that we may finish the 12 months required. However, I am still wondering: how will these 'lost months' where we have furloughed our emplo...

Re: *** COVID19 Tier 1E impact and Government support *** Discuss here ONLY

Dear Marcnath I have read the posts in earlier threads which you posted. It means these funds clearly will not be considered as public fund. So there is no problem whatsoever as far as immigration rules are concerned as I am applying for ILR in the next 2 months.I can accept and utilise these funds...
