I just want to add regarding "English Requirement".
My wife has passed ESOL PET B1 test from London and she has used this certificate when she made her entry clearance application so will that be accepted? I have read somewhere that they have introduced some new tests and a SELT reference number?

Thankyou man4uni. Just got the post and I've got the interview letter. Says I have to read the passport application pack guild line booklet first but I've misplaced it. Anyone know what that says Nothing important! Just take the interview letter with you (ONLY) and get there 15 minutes before time....

When I made a booking for my passport interview, the person that I was dealing with told me that the interview lasts half an hour. Is it true that it lasts this long? I just read the ruling and he got decision in his favor because he served in British Army in past.
I don't think rules will be changed and it will still be HO discretion to consider speeding points or not. In most cases they will not if it's recent.
