Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

People showing desperation must have skeletons hidden in the cupboard and are wary these will come out the longer HO spends on their application. They have a SLA of six months to deal with naturalisation applications and they don't have to take orders from impatient applicants on how to do their job...

Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

Congratulations. Just out of curiosity, how do people mark this milestone? Throw a party? Display the union jack in the car/office desk/house window? Ramp up on the please / thank you's? What do you do?

Re: November 2013 - Naturalization Application Timeline

amity010 - most likely your application went to the back of the queue after they failed to get payment in the first attempt. Be patient, it'll come! I do understand that it might have gone back to the queue. But the fee was taken out on the 27th Jan. I wonder why it takes them more than 1 month to ...

The right to settle in Britain should be auctioned off to wealthy foreign investors, government advisers say. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-26334978 The wealthy dictators and corrupt politicians of the world can rejoice! The deposed rulers of Ukraine will be first in the queue for obvious re...

Re: February 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

20 applicants so far in February and nearly 70% have their money debited, good going! It'll be interesting to see how February stacks up in comparison to January when 92 applicants reported their progress in the timelines thread. Nothing like October when 284 applicants checked in on the timelines t...

92 applicants in January compared to 284 in October (i.e. based on the data in this forum) gives an indication of the spike in applications in sept/oct.

I am not suggesting anything, but your application might trigger red flags given media attention on sham marriages: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2562615/A-sham-marriage-hour-UK-More-7-500-fake-ceremonies-reported-just-90-people-deported.html You've waited a while to get to this stage, why...
