Appreciation for Moderators/Seniors - ILR Approved

Good Evening Moderators, Seniors and Members, I am really grateful to you all and especially to the Moderators and Senior Members of this forum for helping me with difficult questions ever since I joined in 2012. Re: ILR TIER 1 (GENERAL) ROUTE

Hi Akshat, AS BEFORE BOTH EXTENSIONS IN 2011 N 2013 I SHOWED MY EARNING THOUGH DIRECTOR OF LTD CO. BUT THIS TIME I M SHOWING MYSELF AS A BUSINESS CONSULTANT THROUGH SAME COMPANY. IS THERE ANY PROBLEM IN IT. - I don't think there would be a problem as far as all your taxes are paid and tax affairs ar...

Re: Previous Earnings for ILR (Via Tier 1 General)

Casa, thanks for enlightening us, you are right. It is possible that CW can question it.

Kmaa,
Sorry for my earlier advice. If I were you, I would go with Casa's advice. better disclose entire earnings rather than risk having questions from case workers.

Thanks

Re: Previous Earnings for ILR (Via Tier 1 General)

Casa, Please correct me if I am wrong :) HMRC earnings and Tax paid will be higher than earnings disclosed to UKVI. It would be a problem if vice versa is the case i.e. OP disclosed higher income to UKVI and lesser to HMRC, thus indicating a tax fraud. But for instance a person's annual income for 1...

Re: more than 180 days absence in ILR application

Avi59, You were out for 180 days continuously i.e. you did not come back to UK during this time. I guess what you are worried about is that if you split the number of days between year 4 and 5, Will the CW not analyse the continuity in the dates? Am I correct in understanding your concern? The guida...

Re: Previous Earnings for ILR (Via Tier 1 General)

No.
As far as your earnings are above the required threshold (enough to get you the required points), you don't need to disclose the entire earnings.

Re: Need Help in ILR Application

Shk, Couple of members have shared their experiences now telling us that they were not asked to pay additional fee on the day of appointment however they have used the new form. Therefore it is logical to conclude: if you have booked the appointment before 18th March 2016, you will not need to pay t...

Jay, Thanks a lot for quick response.
Makes me feel a bit confident. I have 22 days personal leave for which I have not prepared anything. My all other leaves are certified by my employer.

Many congrats on your ILR.

Avi,

For absences, they will look at last five 12 month periods, starting from the date of application.

Re: Which form for me and dependent

Raj,

For Tier 1 General to ILR, you will have to use Form Set (O) Version 03/2016.
You will need to fill in only 1 Form. You and your dependent will be included on the same form i.e. No separate form is needed for the dependent.

Cheers

Re: ILR PEO Appointment this week please advice.

i would fill in the first half of the payment page i.e. with your contact details and leave the payment portion blank. I would rather put a small comment there saying 'Please refer Payment Sheet attached'

Hope this helps

Re: Previous Earnings for ILR (Via Tier 1 General)

Are you applying for ILR by end of March 2016 or early April 2016?
If Yes,
May be you can consider claiming income from April 2015 - March 2016. That will take care of the issue.

Making Statement to the Police - Impact on ILR

This criminal has put his signature graffiti on many properties and they are assessing the total damage done by this criminal. Somehow his ...

Re: What has changed in SET(O) Version 03/2016

Another small change is regarding how they will handle refunds now.
So from now on, if information is not complete or documents are missing, then they will not consider the application and will refund the fee less £25 admin charge for each person

Oni82, What CR001 and CASA are doing are simply providing the answer to your question and that is you may face problems if you have worked more than allowed hours. Now this might be something one wouldn't like to hear, but that is the correct answer to your question. You would appreciate that modera...

Dmat,

Unless you specify some details like via which route have you applied for and what did they tell you, it would be very difficult to answer your questions.

Re: Help plz Asap. How to change Premium appointment

I think this is because of the change of the fee. Since you paid the old fee, you cannot see the appointments after the cut off date using your old account. While if you make new account, you can see the appointments but it will charge you the increased fee. That's my gut feel what the problem may b...

Re: Absence letter

According to the guidance, yes you need to explain these absences.
However practically applicants have shared their experiences that case workers didn't asked for it, where absences are so low.

If I were you, I would get an absence letter from employer or a personal letter.
