Re: employment for Tier 1

But how will you respond to the two points that I raised above. If any business is having 100 self employmed contractors, is that not a genuine business? The government does not accept contractors for seeking the employment points. Not even 100 contractors. Your point is hence less valid I suspect ...

Re: employment for Tier 1

T1e is a route meant to attract high value migrants to stimulate economic growth via new business and job creation. The limitations of government are such that they need to specify measurable criteria and as such set it at two person years of employment. But they still have genuine entrepreneur tes...

Re: employment for Tier 1

I disagree with the person above as having more employees than required should not ring any bell for the following reasons Firstly, you just send the details regarding the employees you are claiming the points for. So the case worker wont know straight away how many employees he has Secondly, he can...

Re: Clarification required about this matter

I think stop worrying about it at the moment is the best option. But if it comes up as a problem just say that they ran the payroll late as the company most probably would not have the record dated 5 years back

Re: Full time employment - Min wages and Min working hours

Basically hours per week counted for a FT job is 30. Now if you have 20 hours from job1 and 20 hours from job2, they do make 40 hours but they will be counted as 30 hours i.e.1 FT week So you can have 5 hours on Job1 and 25 hours of job2 which will be equally good to make 1FT BUT If you hire someone...

Re: Employee hours for ILR application from T1 Ent route

I think the other person’s extension is going to get rejected as you have already claimed the points for those jobs/employees So even at the next application you would be getting the points for these jobs/employeees But if you want to be on safe side then hire more employees And yes employees/jobs f...

Re: **Please help me- Tier1G ILR Tax issues**

I am not 100% sure but i think it wont be an issue since in either case his income is above 35k threshold HO penalised those eho inflated their income to 35k to get visa and then reduced it to 19k or something like that. So I think he should be fine How you just assumed that threshold was 35K? [/qu...

Re: Need Advise in regards to Tier 1 Enterpreneur Extension

I dont think so that you have to worry about one contract but at the same time dont say that I only keep documents for one year as HMRC requires you to keep documents for 3 tax years minimum - obviously HMRC is not interested to see your contracts but they just have a rule So its best if you just do...
