I meant to say, of course you need Schengen visa for Europe which needs to be applied from your country of origin.

I am on indefinite leave and would like to sponsor my parents for either a General visitor or Family visitor visa. Do any of these categories allow multiple entries? For Information to others I got a reply from VFS, saying that Applicants CANNOT apply for a surrender certificate and visa application at the same time. The only difference would be that once you become British, your wife will be able to apply on a 3 year rule potentially in June 2015. Which is not relevant to the question as the question is not discussing naturalization! Nothing about the current immigration status of the partner will be affected ...
