Just updating my wife's settlement visa timeline.

Submitted at VFS Kolkata - 2nd April 2013 (was supposed to submit it on the 22nd March but VFS wanted a SU07 Form..even though it is not required)

Waiting Waiting Waiting..

Anybody applied around that time.....??

I think you have enough documents. Sign the sponsorship letter. In addition you can get a letter from a solicitor to say you are sponsoring your spouse. Thank you for all your replies. Yes, one does not require Life in the UK test from outside the UK. I think they are making it a rule from Sep/Oct this year.

I will be applying for a Spouse Settlement Visa.

Anybody has an answer to my query ?

Not sure if I understand --- My first entry into UK was 10/08/2008 (76 days later)

I think you can apply 28 days before your Tier 1 expires. eg if it expires on 28th Nov then you can apply on the 1st of Nov.

Congrats to all of you who received the pp and biometrics. Now you all can sigh a breathe of relief. For all of us waiting, it is killing us. Sometimes it makes me wonder if there is something wrong with the application. 15 weeks now.
