You should also contact UK Visas and Immigration if your situation changes (eg, you move house, get married or are arrested) during your application.

I was wondering if we need to write to gov. depts, companies and organisations that hold our personal records advising them of getting BC to amend their records accordingly?

You don't have to inform anyone if you don't want to. However, if you register as a voter it will improve your credit rating. Hi friends,
I have obtained overseas Bachelor's degree and I did my Master's degree in the UK. Is that fulfill knowledge of language requirements to apply for British citizenship. I have passed the Life in the UK test and got my ILR last year.

I received my documents back after 15 days of withdrawal, infact the withdrawal letter was immediately typed after 2 days of my request. Also, at the airport the immigration officer didn't ask a single question about overstay and did make a note saying that I left the country, he was quite polite. ...

For the period before I was granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, I submitted HSMP approval letter and yes I submitted a letter from my employer mentioning UK absences.

Thanks GOD, Today I got ILR at Glasgow PEO. I would like to thanks all who share their questions and success story. The experience was very good at Glasgow PEO and the staff was polite and helpful at Glasgow. Only few people were there to apply for visa. I saw only 11 people in total until 2:30 PM....
