Re: ILR at Cardiff PEO

Hi I applied for ILR today at Cardiff PEO. My case was very straightforward. Came to the UK on HSMP, then extended into Tier 1. I Have been employed throughout the period of my stay. Out of the UK for a total of only 66 days. Now the problem is, after waiting for about 6 hours the case worker said ...

looks like visa processing previously had taken much longer for you, is that the reason why you have so much leave remaining after finishing the 5th anniversary on T1 ? since leave under 3C is counted as legit, no other documentation is required, i agree with the advisers that you can apply 28 days...

You can claim points for previous earnings for any single, consecutive 12 month period from the 15 months immediately before this application.

7 DAYS!

I 'm going to apply for ILR after 5 years in the UK as HSMP and Tier 1 general migrant. I've had only 7 days outside UK during Christmas holiday in 2009.
Do I need a letter from my employer about this 7 days? if so, what should they say?

Please advise.

UKBA's IT systems

’’ UKBA’s IT systems are often incompatible and are not reliable enough. They require manual data entry instead of automated data collection, and they often involve paper files instead of modern electronic case management. So I have asked the Permanent Secretary and Home Office Board to produce a ne...

UKBA's problems

According to the home secretary the UKBA’s problems boil down to four main issues. •First, the sheer size of the Agency means it has conflicting cultures, and all too often focuses on the crisis in hand at the expense of other important work. •Second, its lack of transparency and accountability. •T...

I am 99.9% sure of what I am writing about. You don't need to show co-habitation docs if you were already married and applied for your T-1 (G) visa before arriving the UK. When I applied for ILR, I had all the co-hab docs, and the CW did not ask for them. Before I left after been successful, I asked...

I believe the intention is to take the £100 fee when booking. This is to prevent profiteers from harvesting multiple slots and selling on for an inflated fee. It will also stop an applicant from booking multiple appointments while they make up their mind which date they prefer. :? you are absolutel...
