Re: Absence from country during period of unemployment

I am in the same boat as you and very worried about it.

I was changing jobs at the time and I left my job on 31 March, 2012 and went to Pakistan for holiday. I then came back on 15th April to start work. Unfortunately, I am also unsure what to do.

Dear Forum, To answer these questions once and for all, can you please clarify the following: a) If your degree is on the PBS calculator, do you need a comparability letter? b) If your degree is on the PBS calculator, do you need the NARIC English Language check? Can this be used instead of any Engl...

NARIC costs for two degrees

Q1) For Tier 1 to ILR route, do I need to get the Bachelors and the Masters degree certified by NARIC or can I only get the Masters one certified.

Q2) If I have a Bachelors and a Masters from the same university, and I want both to be certified, will NARIC charge double?

Regards,

Re: ILR 5 years shortfall

You will definitely need to apply for another extension. The problem is that your original visa and its extension combined do not add up to 5 years. If the dates on the visa and the extension added up to five years, you could then apply 28 days before. Since this is not the case YOU HAVE TO GET AN E...

Requirement for wife's degree

Hi,

Thanks for everyone's help. Some questions below:

1 - Does my wife need to prove her English requirement for ILR if she is my dependent?

2 - She has a Masters from Imperial College of London. Do I need to do anything (like NARIC) or can I just take this degree to the PEO appointment?

Re: Spouse went outside the country for 102 days

Do they really check for this though as the SET(O) form doesn't really ask for spouse details.

Am I missing something?

My wife went to visit family and was gone for 102 days consecutively. She has come back in March. I am applying for ILR in January 2015. Does this leave affect her eligibility for ILR?
