Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

If I upload my supporting documents by myself do I still need to pay for scanning them? Or do I need to pay for checking them? Can I only pay for biometrics and upload my docs by myself? Yes, you can upload your own documents if you choose to do so. You can also get them checked for an extra cost b...

Re: SET(M) Online application form is Wrong

I can imagine your stress! Not sure what you can do at this point. I dont believe you can post the application so your only option is to find a Centre where you can get an appointment tomorrow! I believe they say you can pay to get a next day appointment? But you may have to travel. As to the employ...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

Hi all, Few updates, last weekend I got a letter with the decision. It's POSITIVE. I am now settled! Hiccup: the letter came without the BRP. I am now waiting for the BRP to arrive. This was also a bit messy. They use DX and they don't tell you when the package will arrive. It must be signed for (f...

Question regarding new application forms

I am not sure this has been asked before but, once you start the online application form, can you go back and edit answers you have already given? I understand there are different sections in most categories. If this is the case, does it mean that once you have completed a section, you cannot return...

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

These screen shots are great! Thank you so much! And the information you are giving about the procedure really gives me some reassurance. One thing I notice on your checklist and hopefully on ours later, is that they only ask for any passport that has been in place since the last visa. I had visions...

When did you submit your application aerobharath? Some people have reported that they could not find the new system option for the last two days. [ https://imgur.com/Z8ebDth this is what you will see when you have made the payment. At this page you get to download the checklist and your copy of the...

Re: Set M question - How long has your partner lived in the UK?

Sorry, reading your post again, it does appear it has to be in figures. Very difficult! Unless advised otherwise I will probably take my time abroad away from my total age.

Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

If you read through several recent posts, you will see that quite a few people have had to wait several days to get a decision.

Re: Set M question - How long has your partner lived in the UK?

Would the form allow you to put 'I was born and brought up in the UK but spent some years abroad' or does it require a figure? I recall something similar on my husband's application for FLR(M) but cannot remember what I put, as my situation was similar.

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

That is really helpful! Thanks! It is comforting to know that if one needs to add anything, it can be uploaded at the appointment.

I have some time to prepare but trying to be proactive! Did you find uploading was fairly easy?

12 months of bank statements required in new system?

I have been reading that 12 months of statements are now required when applying under the new system. Can anyone confirm that this applies to savings as well, please?

Re: Questions on ILR form: Application: Personal Info

I am almost sure the question does not include friends and family in the UK. It applies to the applicants home country or any other (not UK) country where they have lived for more than five years. I would only list family members (not their names or addresses) and either many, several or a few frien...

Size limit of documents uploaded for ILR new system

Even though we are not applying for some months, I am trying to get my head round the new system and, even though I will probably use the Premium Lounge or another Centre where our documents can be scanned and uploaded, my husband has a lot of passports which I am going to attempt to scan and save r...

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

I am new here and was looking for information on the new system. I accompanied my husband to the new Birmingham Sopra Steria centre on Tuesday 13th November. He was welcomed as the first customer as we arrived early, waited a few minutes and were allowed in about 8:15 am for his 8.30 appointment. H...

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

That is probably why those who paid for the 24 hour decision option are not getting decisions within that time frame at all! The caseworkers still have to scroll through pages and pages of required documents, now digitized, instead of paper!

can you take extra doucoment like a cover note etc and give ukvcsa to upload ? Hi everyone, Sorry for keeping everyone waiting. Work has been very busy. I paid for super priority service which I think is the new expedited decision? Unfortunately, it was not a next day decision... :( I just got an e...

I would have thought Sopra Steria are responsible for refunding you as it is to them you pay for the appointment! Hope you get your money back!

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

Hi guys, I just registered a new account and let you know...I was at Birmingham centre on 13th Nov at 9.00 a.m. The caseworker told me she cannot submit my documents because of a system issue. Then there was another staff noted my appointment number saying she would look at this issue later and let...

Re: Help with ILR SET(M) online application

As I understand it, you can apply now as you can apply up to 28 days before your fifth anniversary of entering the UK. A) I do not think they expect you to include your family in the UK but there would be no harm in adding that your cultural ties etc are in now in the UK B) I do not think they expec...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

I too am hoping to hear from Loupiol, particularly as there is another post on an applicant’s experience at the Birmingham Centre which did not go as smoothly as Loupiol's. In fact that applicant has not heard back from the HO even though he paid for the 24 hour decision.
