Re: How can I bring my Mexican girlfriend here.

Is there a way I can sponsor her and then she can look for a job that way. Only if you plan to marry within 6 months (but she couldn't work until her subsequent visa is approved after marriage) or are already married (or have lived together n a relationship akin to marriage for two years, but assum...

Re: Proposed marriage_End of Notice period: What steps to take

Hi While I understand that the moderators do not have any obligation to respond, its surprising that they zealously just merge topics, while not giving any guidance. Reason for opening new thread: To have correct thread name and get members to respond. The forum does not allow edit in thread name. ...

Re: Visa for Japanese fiancé

Thanks for the reply. So I would need to apply after the money was in the account for 6months? So the 62.500 is fine on its own without proof of employment or a salary that meets the requirements? Thanks. That savings is fine on its own. You will need a letter from the gifter to say that the money ...

Hi, Any response to my query would be much appreciated. I have figured out that below are the only quick options I have: For child: CoE-RoA For husband: Spouse visa. For the spouse visa, I’m again caught up in a tricky situation.. I’ve only recently moved back to the UK in a self-employed job, afte...

I applied for indefinite live to remain for family viza( relative) This visa requires 5 years of UK residency. It does not appear that they qualify for it. Any application for them to enter the UK would require you so show custody of the children (court documentation). I also believe any applicatio...

Hello, I have been trying to book an appointment at the TLS center in Paris to turn in my spouse visa application and bio-metrics but the website says that there are no appointments at all. Re: SET (o) or SET (M) for spouse of British citizen who had 5 years company work permit before getting British Citizens

As your spouse was always on a spouse route (and not a PBS dependent route) she is eligible after 5 years - 28 days in the UK. She should apply using SET(M). It is odd that her entry clearance was granted for three years though... hmm. It appears she has been eligible since September/August 2018?

So she submitted an FLR(M) application two years ago? Is it valid for two and a half years? Edit: So you were granted entry clearance in 2012? In that case, how were you on the old work permit? They were brought in before 2012 (I know this because I was on a Tier 2 in 2011...). BTW, I don't think th...

Re: Non EEA Applying Fiancee Visa from UK- divorce document queries

Fiance visa is a specific visa sub category, only available from outside the UK. Agreed. In addition, your visa does not need to be decided by the expiry of your current visa, but submitted (if you go down the spouse or unmarried partner route and apply from within the UK). You would be covered und...

Re: Article 8, Human rights, overstayer, Bail extentions after 5 years , Reporting every month.

In order to have legal stay, an application for a visa must be submitted. Being bailed is not equivalent to being given a visa. It is unclear to me what your last application was and when you applied for it. When did your last leave expire? It looks to me that the best route may be to apply for entr...

Your wife's mother has never paid into the NHS? Re: Changing jobs

You could apply with fewer than 12 months' of pay slips if the total on the pay slips totals more than £18600 (NOT equivalent to £18600 per annum but actually £18600). You would need to supply 12 months' of bank statements. This is category B. I will once again supply them and suggest you read them....

Re: Changing jobs

There are different ways of meeting the financial requirements of the visa (called Categories). Category A is 6 months with the same employer (there is NO wiggle room on this). Category B is the last 12 months of employment earning above £18,600 which can be in multiple jobs (and you must continue t...
