Re: Fiance to spouse visa

Hi all 1) Property inspection report was done in October 2018. Can we use the same report or would it better to get an up to date one? 2) Proof of employment letter is dated September 2018. Is this going to be acceptable or should I get an up to date one? 3) All my banking is done online and when r...

Re: Changing jobs

You could apply with fewer than 12 months' of pay slips if the total on the pay slips totals more than £18600 (NOT equivalent to £18600 per annum but actually £18600). You would need to supply 12 months' of bank statements. This is category B. I will once again supply them and suggest you read them....

Re: Changing jobs

Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed... I simply asked a question, you gave an answer, and I simply pointed out another forum user, in a topic which was right above mine when I posted the link, has given what seems to be a different answer to you. Just because I said "I was under the impression...

Re: Changing jobs

Hmmm, interesting, thanks kate. Just to clarify though, do you mean it has to be £18600 or the equivalent of (as I haven't been in employment for the full past 12 months, I'm planning on applying after essentially 6 months employment)? https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-member...

Re: Changing jobs

There are different ways of meeting the financial requirements of the visa (called Categories). Category A is 6 months with the same employer (there is NO wiggle room on this). Category B is the last 12 months of employment earning above £18,600 which can be in multiple jobs (and you must continue t...

Re: FLR(M) visa grated but not Received BRP or Approval Letter

Applying under the new UKCVA Priority or Super Priority service, applicants are emailed once a decision is made and many told the outcome of application is grant of visa/ILR Cheers Char!! Seems like the service is a bit poor i nothing has been returned two weeks later though... I am surprised, why?

Re: FLR(M) visa grated but not Received BRP or Approval Letter

 My wife received an email notification on 11th Febr 2019 that her Spouse visa is granted. We didnt received any Approval Letter or BRP as of now. Is this something odd or do i need to contact HO. I've never heard of an email detailing the result - just that a decision has been made. How cur...

Hey physicskate, She will probably come for 10 days (pending MVV approval) to give notice so that she is here for 8 days and then giving notice on the 9th. I have her bank statements delivered to my address from her UK account which according to the register office could count as valid proof of add...

Re: ILR HUMAN RIGHTS

Hi all We came over in 2004 on ancestral visa. We notified the HO of change of address when we moved. Upon having a house fire where all our documents & passports got destroyed, we applied for new visas. The HO sent the documents & new passports to our old address from 2004. However, we have now be...

Re: Confusion in Family Consent

I am fully aware this is not what you've asked and I don't think I have the answer to the question you've asked, but is there a reason to switch to FLR(M)?? You are aware this will re-set her ILR clock to 5 years? The only reason to do this is if you were granted ILR under long residency rules...

Re: Want to bring Iranian girlfriend to Scotland

The two year cohabitation rule is very strict but it ONLY applies to unmarried partners. If you marry, you would apply for the spouse visa (this is the path I would recommend if in a genuine subsisting relationship but not having cohabitated - if you don't want to marry, perhaps the relationship isn...

Re: Confusion on Supporting Documents (US Applicant)

Best practice is to send everything to Sheffield except your passport, which will be submitted to the VFS centre along with biometrics. Now you can either send documents directly or send it to your sponsor and they can send it to Sheffield. Other US memebers might give you more accurate information...

Re: Fiancee Visa refused

I'd also suggest you double check your relationship and accommodation evidence. Just because it's not mentioned in the refusal letter, doesn't mean it was acceptable. As you were missing so much evidence, it's entirely possible they just picked up two points when there could have been more. Letters ...

Re: Spouse visa or ILR

I didn’t do ILR on tier 2 basis. It is on 10 years route. You've completely missed my point: "Surely if you were on a Tier 2 you met the financial requirements ." This means you MUST have earned over £18,600 per year and therefor you could have applied for FLR(M) instead of FLR (FP) as this is cons...
