Re: Financial Requirement Question

We are about to travel to the UK to see how my family likes living there. We are considering staying there full time but I will continue to return to the US periodically in order to maintain my Green Card. I understand the best way to apply for a Spousal Visa is from outside the country, so we were...

Re: Divorce and Settlement in UK| Please Help!

Hi Casa, Yes i am not an EU citizen. Could you please advise which type of visa should I applied for? Any UK visa that you are qualified for (ie Tier 2, Tier 4). It seems to me that you currentlyprobably have no legal stay in the UK as your status is only legal if your partner is exercising treaty ...

Are you saying the caseworker ignored: 3.5.1. Re: Problematic marriage with my exotic foreign wife.

I see from your handle that you feel the aggrieved party, but dangling a visa over someone's head - stay with me or I won't let you get that visa - is pretty abusive and coercive in and of itself. Do what is right for the relationship regardless of the visa situation. Please don't conflate the two i...

Re: Deception UK Spouse Visa

HO do not have any problem from bigamist if bigamist is legal in the country where the marriage took place. But husband can sponsor only 1 wife at same time. Not quite complete... the marriage must be legal in order to be recognised in the UK. If he was not obeying the laws of the country where the...

Re: Spouse Visa or human rights Visa?

They have two kids together, now mother and two kids currently in UK, does father have no rights to live with family in UK for the better of kids? Short answer, no. They have a right to a family life, but a) that doesn't have to be in the UK and b) they have already shown that they can maintain a f...

Hello All, My husband got British passport 2 years ago, while I am still in Pakistan, now he wants to apply for my visa but his lawyer told him that he must have to visit Pakistan 3 times at least before applying for my visa otherwise my visa application will be potentially rejected. Re: Overstayed spouse visa by 26 days so far, what to do next?

The OP's wife (who is undergoing IVF treatment) is settled in the UK and not under Immigration control. In ivf, the 'patient' is the couple. There would be a cost to his side of things (sperm samples, collection, analysis etc. not sure how icsi would be considered if that's part of their tre...

Re: Overstayed spouse visa by 26 days so far, what to do next?

:D thanks for your reply So, basically, how long does this FLR FP thing take to reach a decision? If it’s more than 100 days I definitely prefer going back to Canada, I can’t afford shutting down my business longer than a season. Problem is, if I can’t be back into UK before next March, I’m missing...

Re: primary carer of british kids

It's a Catch 22 - the kids have to be in the UK. But you couldn't be with them on a visitor visa (as you cannot switch from a visitor visa to any other visa). But if they are being cared for by others while you apply, you can't be the primary caregiver... so it's a difficult/ impossible (?) situatio...

But, I would like to apply on humanitarian ground not on private life as mentioned in your reply. Considering the wellbeing of kids I think HO will grant me extension for another 2.5 years. 'Humanitarian grounds' means applying as a refugee. Are you fleeing persecution from your home country? I thi...
