Any advantage in exchanging EU driving licence?

Hi Guys,
I have been living in UK for 5 years now and have been dricing in UK for a while using my EU driving licence.
I wonder if anybody knows if there is any advantage in exchanging the EU driving licence to the UK one?
Does it affect the insurance costs?

A passport is not a birth certificate. The form asks for (any) birth certificate. It doesn't matter where it was issued. Now if your child doesn't have one, that's a different question. In that case, I would just add a note that the country doesn't issue birth certificates and that's why it was not...
