Yes it's taken exactly 6 month. In my case I was applied Replacement BRP Card in 2nd February this year and today exactly after 6 month I have received both of my children card 2nd August 2018. I was applied for my children in 2 February 2018 Replacement BRP card after expiry as ILR Settlement status. And today 2 August 2018 I have gotten new BRP card with one child card valid 5 year and the second card valid for 6 and half year. I hope the answer will help you. Thanks.

I was granted ILR through set p and the BRP Card has just showing Settlement and Indefinite leave to remain not mention refugee ilr. Hope the answer will help you. Either both card the adults and children 10 year and 5 year Thanks.

Its up to you if you want to apply reconsideration request but in my personal point of view it is just a game of money and wast of time.
