Still no news...

Just thought I'd let you know that I still have not received back mine and my partner's passports. I contacted my MP's office Monday of last week, and they have contacted the UKBA, and have been able to confirm that both of my email requests have been received. I'm waiting to hear back from the MP's...

Hi zz00ee, Have a look here: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=119593 - there's quite a few of us having trouble getting our passports back. I first requested mine on the 14/11, thinking that would be plenty of time to receive it before Christmas - but it isn't looking good

Hi lee333, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner - but looks like you don't need the info anyway! You must be thrilled to know your passports are on the way! Had you included a Special Delivery envelope? I'll be interested to hear if they use it to return your passport. (When I sent my applicatio...

I phoned the MP's office, and that was fine. I'd recommend phoning yours, at least you'll get to speak to someone, even if they ask you to email instead, at least you'll know where you stand with them!

Hi lee333, I have also recently contacted my local MP's office, to ask for assistance in getting my passport back. No news on progress so far, but I'll update here when I do get something! To find contact details for your local MP, you can use this website: http://findyourmp.parliament.uk/ Good luck!

20 days...

I just tried to call the UKBA to find out if they have received/processed my request to return mine and my partner's passports. While waiting on hold for them to answer, there was a message regarding return of documents, giving directions for the website to find the appropriate information. It leads...

Hi Erik84,

You'll find the form on this page: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/about ... documents/.

I'm still not clear on whether the form is required it not, but it can't hurt!

Still waiting....

Hi Sofia, I requested mine and my partner's passports back on 14th November. To answer your questions: 1. Was your request for an emergency or leisurely travel? If for leisurely travel, did you state so in your request? Mine is for leisure - and I mentioned in the request that we wished to go to my ...

I thought I'd add my timeline so far, and my opinion on the passport requests...
