It shouldn't be a problem that her father own the property, however it is best to provide evidence and a cover letter explaining the situation. you should be fine. I would tend to disagree with this. For one, how is it obvious that the rental property belongs to her father - and even if it is fairl...

Re: Getting my wife back home to London

My wife (who is the non-EEA national and a visa national) is currently in Dublin and has no family permit or visa for the UK. She holds a EUFAM Stamp 4 for Ireland as we used to live there, and a COA for the UK - her EEA2 application made on 20th Nov 2012 is pending. Now the problem is, how does sh...

Many thanks! It's very helpful!!! Hey LeLe, I'm sure you've found all the info you need in the thread that Plum70 directed you to, but just to make sure it is all clear: yes, you have the right email address, and yes, complete the RODR form. Send the form ASAP - at least that should give you some t...

I had the same on my COA, as I applied as an unmarried partner. However, I hold a valid Employer Sponsored Work Permit, so I was obviously able to continue working, within the limitations of my Work Permit. The COA document can only refer to the applicant's situation under the EEA category they've a...

I just read, after requesting a return of documents, that if the UKBA do not have your passport when they make their decision, that if you want it putting into your passport you may need to make a further application, which costs £220 if you post it or £661 if made in person. Hi andyjohnst, Where d...

She also wanted to take my surname, how painful this process is going to be ? It seems to me that another headache is o...

Charlie77, I'd recommend complaining to the UKBA, firstly that you've been issued with the wrong COA, and secondly, that they haven't rectified it. UKBACustomerComplaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk Once my complaint was finally looked at, I received my RC within two weeks! (My complaint was about the len...

I am assuming this will be sticker in my wife's passport. We've notified UKBA about that, but no response as us...

Re: RC Received!!!!

fahad346 wrote: IS it on A4 paper or in passport ?
It is on A4 paper (the UKBA didn't have my passport - I didn't want to risk sending it back to them!). Also, my passport expires in 2015 and my RC in 2018, so the freestanding ISD is better for me.

RC Received!!!!

Just to let everyone know - I received my RC (EEA2) today. I had been in discussions (email/phone) with the UKBA in regards to a complaint I made back in December with regard to requesting return of passports - I think maybe because my file was being looked at due to the complaint, they've probably ...

yogsmith, a few of questions for you:

1. When does your Tier 1 visa expire

2. When last year did you get married?

3. Have you ever co-habited? If so, how long have you been living separately?

yogsmith, I am in the same situation. I wasn't sure if it would be a problem, either, so I applied using an immigration agency. My solicitor did not indicate that there would be a problem with us living separately, entered in both of our separate addresses as required on the application form, and d...
