Re: HSMP ILR JR Document List

Don't be paranoid, I am not trying to kill your thread(s), but to help, as I think this is a good idea to have such information consolidated in one thread. People generally skip such threads where it is obvious that the poster is going to sponge off others and it had no chance of survival anyway ......

Re: HSMP ILR JR Document List

Thanks for your advice. You seem too eager to discourage people asking questions. I am eager to discourage selfish take-only behaviour on forums. This information is already available on this forum and discussed many times. The fact that you are being lazy to search for it does not mean other peopl...

You will be fine, they were referring to the old limit

If you are below 225 or better 190/200 when applying in PEO, it will be ok

Add to that time difference between UK and all other countries in the east :D Uk airports open almost 24hrs - get you visa at 12 IST, this must be 17-30 GMT if I am correct, you should still have 6.5 hrs to get to the UK :) But this is extreme, I agree. So I just asked the consulate to stamp my vis...

it is not possible for anyone to enter the UK on the same day of visa approval if we are outside the UK I can assure you this is very possible 1) As f2k has mentioned, you can get to the UK on the same day (planes fly fast !) 2) You could get your entry clearance stamped with a date in the future ..

But one thing I don't follow though: for anyone who switched from WP to HSMP the new stamp would have been an Entry Clearance, right? (You can only get an FLR if you extend your WP?) I do not think so, Entry Clearance - is only when you are about to entry the country, but if you switch in-country y...

This is because of the interpretation of the period Feb-Apr '06 when I returned home to apply for HSMP (even though my WP was for 4 years from Jan '05). Would this be treated as a break or a continuation? what visa did you have stamped, entry clearance or FLR ? but frankly this looks like you reset...

Payslips, P60s ?

They are obliged to give this to you by the law ... BUT .. that applies if they/you've actually paid taxes here, otherwise it looks very dodgy and, in my opinion, HOs point of view won't be much different ..

I booked (over phone) my PEO appointment for next month, but they didn't give me any reference number. Was I supposed to get one? Yes, a 6-digit one.
