i think if it is a visit visa, then you probably need to get friend/family to send you a visa from dubai

i think if you are female, it has to be a close family member (sister/brother/father/mother/son/daughter)

i know this pakistani with a british passport who had a bunch of pakistani entry stamps in his passport.

he was questioned for hours at the port of entry and also when he was about to leave israel !!!

unfortunately the ILR stamps will put you back GBP 500 each passport?

i read some place that if the term starts say in october 2006 then your 3 years of residency should have been fullfilled in october 2006, likewise if it starts janaury 2007, then the criteria should be fullfilled by january 2007.

i dont think that would be the case

i think the 2 years is a probationary period during which the authorities will ascertain if your marriage is a long lasting legit marriage.

similar experience here

i did put down dob for my parents, and an estimate of their marriage dates, but did not put down their passport details. got no problems, received red passport a week later.

do go for the check and send service, well worth the money

as long as the copany is interested they can get it done.

i remember when the rules were real tough, you needed 2 years of experience to get the work visa, and a cambridge based start up actually bent the rules (whilst applying for the work permit), for an applicant.

i was going to cancel it tomorrow, is that a problem haing an uncancelled passport(have not used it, got my british passport last month)
