Just back from Solihull, PEO and got the ILR approval. I had exactly the same case like the topic maker.
Firstly, Congratulations.

Did you have any unpaid holidays? i.e., travel outside UK for which you were not paid in the UK. If so, what was the max you took at any one time?

Regards

As cs95tdg has mentioned above, it's now 180 days for any of the 5 12- month periods prior to the application date. This is a huge change as it was 180 days for all 5 years combined according to old rules. As long as your friend hasn't used up 180 holidays in one of those 12 month periods, he/she sh...

Pls submit the outcome of your case

Hello folks, I wanted to create a thread for people to submit their case outcomes. It will help a lot of us to reach out to the right people. I would appreciate if you can mention your application date, old/new application form, visa type, outcome & more importantly whether you were asked for an abs...

There's a number of us with the same set of Qs. Nobody has yet to come up with a concrete answer. Please don't panic and just try to follow other similar threads. My gut feeling - and I could be totally wrong here - is that if you were ever on WP and absent, then you'd need a letter. Sorry if isn't ...

Have you not got any enrollment receipts, Certificates issued blah blah blah to prove that the training course was connected to my purpose of being in the UK? Well, no. It was at a private institute and I didn't think to ask at the time. Although I'm still wondering why holiday wouldn't be an accep...

Re: new form - evidence for unpaid leave?

"You have stated you were out of the UK in order to terminate your employment in your country of origin, therefore, this absence was not related to your employment in the UK.." I wonder if you'd got a different response had you said you went back on holiday or to be with family & friends. Worth a t...

Thanks for your replies. Hi Damanisshallo , page 15 talks about continuity of leave, which in my case is maintained because I have neither exceeded 3 months in one go nor 180 days over the 5 year qualifying period. As hsmp1412 pointed out, my Q is more to do with the content on page 11. Specifically...

Thanks. I'm assuming then that all SET(O) appointments are booked online but the SET(O) application itself is printed and filled out by hand to be taken to the PEO.

Q reg Unpaid absence

Hello, I had first arrived in the UK, 8 days after my HSMP visa start date. I don't suppose I should count this against absences. Since then, I have been outside the UK for 178 days including 44 days on business. However, one of my absence is 86 days long (visiting family & friends between jobs and ...

28 Calendar or working days

Hello, Hope this isn't a repeat Q - The UKBA website reads "Please do not send us your application more than 28 days before you become eligible to apply". Sorry if I'm being pedantic but assuming my current visa expires on the 28th of a certain month, am I eligible to apply only in that month (on/be...

Hello, I went to the online link but couldn't find a way to fill the application online. The only option I'm given is to download the paper (PDF) Set (O) application, print and fill it out by hand. Am I missing something? I notice you mention it's better to do it in person, which I'm happy to. Is it...
