Do i need to show any sort of tenancy agreement with rent etc or just normal covering letter allowing us to stay with the mortgage papers showing ownership? Do we need to state any time or length of stay?

British Passport finally arrived this morning. They tried to deliver it yesterday but no one was at home. Journey finally came to an end. Applied Naturalisation on the 3rd March and received passport today.

Phoned passport advice line and they said there is no need to put details of the previous lost passport as I obtained a passport after which is now valid and uncancelled. Only need to fill that section if current valid passport is lost.
