I think you are asking about the completion of five year ? If so you should count your days from the stamp date to the 5 year.In this case your eligibility for 5 years will be 16th Aug, 2013( if this is on your passport ). I think you should show the income of April too to meet the criteria of 12 consecutive months within 15 months. You are going to apply in 20 July means there would be 16 months instead of 15 ...Seniors please correct me.

The best way to prove good charater.

Hi all, I am due to apply ILR in this July. I had couple of arrests in family matters now they all were spent ( 24 months provision)according to the immigration rule changed in 13 Dec,2012.There is no court involvement at all. But I am worried about the refusal of my ILR application under the ground...

I have got a reply from ACPO that a caution and penalty are not a criminal conviction.

londener, is it possible you are not realising the difference between a criminal conviction, and a Fixed Penalty Notice, which is not a conviction unless it goes to a Court Hearing and you are found guilty. For example, "Drinking in public place", did they just issue a ticket to you? Then you paid ...
