have you looked Visas you want a B2 1.The advice from the embassy is not to book flights / hotels without a visa. It does in my opinion help to show that you have actually looked at the costs of hotels / flights etc by showing some itinerary. no need to pay for anything but you could go on websites ...

yes you can change whilst applying for naturalisation. know someone who did this last year, all they supplied was the marriage certificate but also in the 'Additional information' section she did mention that she was changing her name

Have you got your acknowledgement letter with the reference number? I would suggest you get in touch with them and try to submit the translated certificate asap. dont know if you alread have the translated certificate, if you do you wont lose anything by sending it to them

any particular reason why you want to use a solicitor. especially taking into account the extra cost.

You will still need to fill in the form, remember the questions are about you. yes you will still need to provide referee and i think your solicitor cannot be your referee.

2.2 ask for absences - if there arent any then live it blank
