It states that '....I am pleased to say that the applications have been successful and you will shortly receive a letter i...

She can apply for naturalisation under her married name, and have her married name in the 'birth name' section. Supply marriage certificate as evidence of name change. As I understand naturalisation certificate will contain both her married name and birth name, she can apply for British cert using m...

Re: Approval vs. Invitation Letter

Hi guys, A quicky and silly question. Why do some people get two letters (approval then invitation) while other only get one (invitation)? I noticed most of the people who got two letters applied by post not NCS or a solicitor. I only got an invitation letter (no approval). Is that normal? Thanks M...

This is because you cannot take into time when you were in the country whilst in breach of immigration laws (illegally) during the 5(3) years prior to applying (go...

did he go to court for any of these offences? If so did he also receive a fine. The speeding one is it 1 offence or 2. If 1 how fast was he going?

As you say you received ILR in July 2010, you will only be eligible for naturalisation 1 year after which would July 2011 at which time your wife will also be eligible. Unless if you got 'backdated' ILR for HSMP JR route. you should be ok of course to apply for your daughter as well at that time.

I say this cause naturalisation do not require much supporting documenation. 3/ Thats fine, the acknow...
