it doesnt matter whether you are still working in your chosen field. true what Try one says, you just need to economically active. actually thats the beauty of the HSMP as opposed to any of the other visas. you can switch jobs, professions, etc. as and when you please. the employemtn doesnt even have...

i agree with Mwasir, it best you jump on to this safety net and get travel into the UK, not only that but also to start your new job a.s.a.p. I suppose what you could do could depending on how long the job offer is for, cause you could go the "urgent treatment" option, and if that fails you could th...

i think you are right there on the my option 2. your spouse only gets EC which will expire at the same time as yours. on option one i assume you applied when they still required 75 points, but my point of argument would be in the case of someone who did apply but depending on how the points where aw...

ND, maybe they do call, i am sure they have a way of checking. the one thing though is, if u apply for an urgent treatment and lets say you are dead certain of getting the points, and then they do find out that your job offer is 'false'. it could mean that your application can be refused for trying ...

i dont disagree with the fact that they can help you apply (by giving you a reference and supporting your income claims), but in as far as giving you a 'false alibi' i would be surprised about that. in anycase how is one going to deal with the situation where all your work experience documents, pays...

yes that does look a bit dodgy. anyway does it really matter what the format of the job offer should be. i just think whatever letter the company sends to you when they are making you job offer is sufficient. Paki, I thought your application was turned down already? what do you need the job offer fo...

i think you will get a lot of objections there on your point that it is "too easy to get in" and they are allowing "too many people" through. i think the main problem has to do with the resources which they have attached to that department, i would say for me the other problem is with "switching" in...

i still maintain that it might not be in the employers best interest for him to help you switch to HSMP. cause the moment you get approval then you are free to hop from company to company. the only flexibility here is only for the applicant and you are asking the employer to do something which is po...

these agencies who are calling you from the uk, should really know better about the WP issue, and they should be in a position to know which companies are willing to apply for work permits for the future employees. my advice to you would be, gather as much information about the B&C WP, the process t...

i would say dont resign, because if your present leave to remain is based on your current WP, the moment your present employer cancels the WP, that might mean you wont now be staying in the uk on the terms of your LTR as your WP will now be non- existant. the other thing is what if for some strange ...

i dont think it is necessary for you to apply for FLR at the same time as your spouse. i can think of a couple of scenarios. 1 - you dont know if you actually got any points for your spouse, unless you claimed exactly 65 points. 2 - what if your spouse only joined you 7 months down the line, it coul...

putting aside the misrepresentation issue aside, just one question why would an employer who already holds your WP want to help you to be flexible, i mean you could then leave them straight after you get the permit
