Hi

What nationalities are you and when did you apply? We applied in Feb and we still have not received a reply or the right COA.

Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

Hi Please can someone help. Its been over 3 months now and I emailed the chief caseworker again today saying they have not sent me the right COA. She replied saying: The correct COA was issued based on the information you provided with the application. We sent both passports and our marriage certifi...

Re: Returning to the UK after travel

Thank you for the reply. We have another original marriage certificate. What else would we need to prove? It could be that where we return from the airline won't know what family of EEA member is? Is it possible to go Ireland and then come to the UK? I've read people entering without a visa but are ...

Returning to the UK after travel

Hi Summary.. We sent our EEA2 application (via surrinder singh) on the 18th of March. We received a COA with no right to work and have emailed to get it rectified but still no luck after 2 months! We are planning to travel soon so we requested our passports back and received them today with a letter...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi, Jellybean105, Thank you for your sharing your similar experience. I would like to know how you contacted the caseworker? I read the some of posts on EEA2 application timeline, most of friends have received their PCs within 2 or 3 months, even few weeks. why do our application have to be process...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi shinwangeutreaty Your journey sounds really similar to mine! I went Ireland in Feb 2013, my husband arrived Aug 13. He got his EEA FP in Feb 14 and we returned to the UK. We sent our application on the 18th of March and we received a COA with no right to work on the 26th. I contacted them for the...

Re: COA - Cannot confirm right to work

My husband had the same problem. I also sent a letter to correct the COA and its been 7 weeks and I have not had any reply. After 4 weeks I had written to the deputy caseworker and she replied by email saying your enquiry on the 8th of april is being dealt with. Its the wrong date as well. She told ...

Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

So I emailed the Deputy Chief Caseworker and she replied within 3 minutes saying your previous enquiry is being dealt with and I'll get a reply to that so don't send me any more emails. This was 2 weeks ago!! We haven't received anything. No post no emails. Its been 6 weeks now since my husband was ...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi everyone, I have been reading through peoples comments and it noe appears that almost everyone is either being called for an interview or recieveing a suprise visit from the UKBA. I also believe that these interviews and visits are targeted at certain nationalities(IMO). What nationalities would...

Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

 Congrats!

Unfortunately, I have had no luck so far. I'm going to call them on Tuesday. I'm still hoping to get the decision back in the next 2 weeks. Do you think they are being dearly beloved or prejudice? :( I'm so fed up now.

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

So coming back to the topic..

Is it roughly taking a month and a half at the moment? Does it usually take longer for eu treaty rights exercised by self-employment (via surrinder singh)?

Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

That really sucks. I can't believe they expect applicants to sit around and do nothing for 6 months? Even students in the UK get 20 hours or something like that. Don't know what they are playing at!

Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

Hi RixiP It actually says it won't be revisited? Thats harsh, like they know you will contact them to change it. I sent a letter a month ago and didn't get a reply so I emailed them. I got a reply straight away saying your enquiry on the 8th of April (wrong date) is being dealt with. Who knows what ...

Re: Citizenship after Surrinder Singh Route

Okay thank you very much for your help :) Is there anything I need to have to prove 5 year residency for PR? I know I have to submit all the same docs as EEA2 but will he need to add any other proof for citizenship?
Just making sure! Thanks again..

Citizenship after Surrinder Singh Route

Hi, I wanted to know how long my husband will have to wait to get citizenship. I am a British citizen and I exercised my rights in Ireland. We have recently applied for a resident card. My husband is a non-EU national. I have read on the HO website but I'm still confused. It says family of EU citize...

Re: EEA 2 Permit - CoA Help

Wow, you are lucky. We applied for my husband on the 18th of March, he also received a 'no right to work' COA. On the 28th I sent a letter to the caseworker (with no name). Th COA had no contacts details on the letter, no email, no phone, no fax. We haven't received the correct one. I hope we get th...

Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

What are the chances that they will take around 3 months at the moment? Does anyone have any recent updates? I'm thinking of emailing them in a day or two, does anyone have an email add I can write to. Or if I call, what do I say? Also, please can someone draft me a few sentences to argue the 'right...

Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

Still no reply from HO after sending them a letter to change my husband's COA. I sent it on the 27th of March, so its been over 3 weeks now

Are you saying at the moment its taking around 3 months for them to make a decision? If so, I might as well wait because they are just hopeless.

Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

I know the HO have the ''DO NOT CALL US'' message plastered all over their correspondence You can say that again! They haven't included any way to contact them on our letter. No email, no phone number.. nothing. Just the address, which I'm guessing was mandatory. Like I mentioned before, he didn't ...
